NOJA Power EcoLink® Mobile App Now Available

Australian electrical equipment engineering firm NOJA Power today confirms the release of the NOJA Power EcoLink App, available on the Apple App Store and Google Play store.

NOJA Power’s EcoLink App is the programming companion for the NOJA Power EcoLink® Fuse Link Mounted Reclosing Circuit Breaker.

The EcoLink App can wirelessly connect to a powered-up EcoLink Circuit Breaker, allowing the operator to collect field readings, load settings files and update settings configuration for the device.

The wireless connection is designed in compliance to the IEEE 1686 standard for cybersecurity for Intelligent Electronic Devices on power systems.

“We are excited to see the EcoLink go into serial production and release the range of apps available to wirelessly connect for configuration and operation,” says NOJA Power Group Managing Director Neil O'Sullivan.

“We anticipate the EcoLink effectively developing into a consumable product for our electricity utility customers. We imagine they will stock it on their line trucks and use it to replace blow drop out fuses.”

“In most cases, the first time the EcoLink successfully auto recloses and clears a fault that would have been previously a blown drop out fuse, it will pay for itself by eliminating the truck roll. With a strong back-order book already, we are looking forward to begin volume production and deliveries,” says NOJA Power Group Managing Director Neil O'Sullivan.

While demonstration units of the NOJA Power EcoLink have been exhibited at conferences such as the 2024 IEEE PES T&D event in Anaheim California, the EcoLink enters serial production at the end of 2024.
